Who We Are

This has to be described in two parts:

- The episode
- The launch party

The episode:

The interviews with Ella, Fetisha and Viky were great! Derek and his "daddy" Christian reveal a lot of their intimate life, their love for each other, and being part of the gay community.

The needle play with Ella and her boyfriend Julien was fabulous. The scene in which their friend is suspended with hooks in his skin, while being hoisted up using a pulley system by two "slaves" with hooks in their back was a bit extreme for us, but beautiful!

The launch party:

We were invited to the premiere party. One word: WOW! When we entered the club, many televisions and a big projector were showing the main characters of the season. This where we started to be a bit overwhelmed....When we saw ourselves on the big screen!!!!!

We were under the impression that it would be a small intimate party...... There were 300 guests!

They ran the first episode. The difference between what the regular viewer saw and what we saw, was there were no commercial breaks for us and at the end, we had a special treat the viewers at home didn't have. They showed a small introduction of all the characters. When I (Pierre) saw myself on the big screen, it was a shock! Scary!!!!!

Many people were wearing latex, most were incredible latex creations from Mario of Polymorphe. It was just amazing! What impressedd us the most was the fact that people from different groups were together in the same room and having fun. There were BDSMers, latex people, many from the Gay community (leather, bears, lesbians) and everybody was having a ball! While I was watching myself being interviewed during the special part of the first episode, one of the gentleman who was accompanied by his lover, belonging I think to the bear community, very nicely touched me on the arm and said to me..."Hey, you look great on the video!" Thank you stranger! You made me realise how fortunate I was to be able to share this moment with all these diverse people who all shared this need of being true to themselves.....

We had the opportunity to meet the people from the Paperny production house. Just imagine, you are in a club and a total stranger stops you by saying "Catharine, Pierre! I know so much about you!" while you are simply thinking "Who the %?&& are you????!!!!!" These people have seen hours and hours of your intimate life..over and over and over.. they have spent months discecting every frame of video. They feel they know us.. and were kind enough to treat us like old friends. We just wished that the music wasn't so loud, because they were so interesting and fun to talk to!

A message for katy, my lover....sharing these moments with you is making me realise how much I am fortunate to share my life with you, even in the "unpleasant" part of our life that we just went through.....
