Who We Are

This third episode was for us, very stressful and hard. At the end of the second episode, we had seen in the teaser, that we were part of the following episode. To be honest, we were scared to death of the result and it was a very long week of anticipation.

Our stress probably reached a record high when we saw the intro of Kink. Chiken was the first one on the episode. Of course, Chiken was......Chiken! Even with our stress at a all time high, I was very interested about Chiken's story. But imagine my surprise when after the first portion of the show with Chiken, suddenly I saw my face on TV!

Because I let myself get carried by the rhythm of Chiken's interview, I was not ready at all for my appearance. This is not like someone just making a short appearance on TV during a game show or a newscast, I knew that we would be on the screen for numerous interviews. When I saw myself, I didn't have that "look ma! I'm on TV!" reaction of amusement but more a "Shit! I'm on TV" type of panic reaction!

The first few secondes were simply overwhelming for me. Catharine told me that when she saw herself on television, she had a similar reaction. Many of our friends, told us the day after the episode that we looked good on telévision but, like Catharine, I hated to see myself on TV and I hated more to hear my voice. Of course, we are the worst to judge ourselves and our friends telling us that we look good, well, they are our friends!!!! I think Catharine looks good on télévision!

Then it was Derek and his partner Christian on tv. Again they were great on TV! We saw a little more about Chiken and finally our second appearance where Catharine is playing with the boys.

It took us a couple of days to be able to think about this episode and to start to get used to seeing ourselves on tv. So far, we think that they made a hell of a good job in editing for us. We know, because of the interviews and what was shot, that they used a good deal of the first two weeks of shooting. There was brief moment of later shoot, mostly in the pool, but you have to noticed them.

I didn't expect the subs to make an apearance so soon either. It was fun to see them very nervous on tv, I had forgotten how nervous they were during the first shoot. By the way, their interviews were done later during the summer.

For the fourth episode, I don't have a clue what it will be about. Since they usually show about three character per episode, we know that Jules is part of the next episode because of the teaser at the end of the third episode. I believe that they will introduce a new character too. Now the bets are going to see if we will be the third character and if we are part of the fourth episode at all!
